Right now we are at the peak of pumpkin madness in October. Everywhere you go pumpkin this and pumpkin that. It’s hard to believe that Christmas is just around the corner. Well we have an early christmas gift for Bill Murray fans. Yesterday the comedian announced that he has a holiday special in the works.
In a report via Variety the 64-year-old Murray will reunite with his “Lost in Translation” director, Sofia Coppola, who is helming the planned X-Mas presentation.
We’re going to do it like a little movie. It won’t have a format, but it’s going to have music. It will have texture. It will have threads through it that are writing. There will be prose,” he said. There was no mention of a network or air date.
This is wonderful news! I’m sure we can expect Murray to bring his lounge-lizard talents to the table. The curiosity factor alone is likely to draw a HUGE audience come December. MURRAY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!
