COMICS: Death of Wolverine Final Two Issues Pushed back

For those of you who do not know – Marvel will be killing off the beloved character Wolverine in the series “Death of Wolverine”. We have seen this with so many comic book characters through time. You cannot deny the popularity of Wolverine/Logan. He will be back at some point, but apparently Marvel thinks that Logan needs a rest.

The start of the “Death of Wolverine” storyline details how a virus from the miniverse caused Wolverine’s mutant healing factor to burn out and stop working. Now that Logan is killable – many villains from his past come back to take the opportunity to rid the world of him.

Issues three and four of Charles Soule and Steve McNiven’s miniseries have been delayed until next month due to unexplained reasons. Death of Wolverine #3 will hit shelves on October 1st, and Death of Wolverine #4 will be released two weeks later, on October 15th.

Marvel just unveiled a new variant cover by artist Greg Land for the fourth issue of the miniseries. It features different incarnations of Logan from across the decades. I think it’s pretty damn awesome.
