Ghostbusters was just released in theaters to celebrate its 30-year anniversary and there has been alot of hype and rumors of a new moving. These rumors seem to be picking up more steam.

Bill Murray has given his blessing to the idea of an all-female Ghostbusters reboot. Not only does Murray support the concept, but he has some opinions to go along with who he thinks would make for a good cast.

In an recent interview with The Toronto Star at the Toronto International Film Festival, Murray said, “I’m fine with it. I would go to that movie, and they’d probably have better outfits, too.” He also offered up some thoughts on who he would like to see in the film.

“Melissa [McCarthy] would be a spectacular Ghostbuster. And Kristen Wiig is so funny — God, she’s funny! I like this girl Linda Cardellini (Mad Men) a lot. And Emma Stone is funny. There are some funny girls out there,” said Murray.

The director rumored for the new Ghostbusters flick is Paul Feig which has many ties to the female actresses Murray mentioned. This is all speculation – but hey….it’s fun to speculate!

What do you think about an all female cast? Who would be your ideal Ghostbuster crew – male/female/combined?
